Dear Homeowners,
The pool opened a few weeks ago and already a few serious incidents need to be brought to your attention. We are advising you of these incidents, and asking that if any you have additional information, please email info@lindavistahomes.org.
1) The pool gate has been found left ajar on several occasions. Remember that the pool gate must be kept closed. This is a safety and security issue. Only homeowners with keys should have access to the pool.
2) On approximately June 14 or 15, someone vandalized the men’s and women’s bathrooms at the pool, covering the walls in graffiti. The previous week, someone smashed all the soap dispensers. This vandalism has been reported to the Contra Costa County sheriff’s office.
3) On 6/23/25 the pool service found the pump room door open and the pump turned off. This caused temperature and chlorine issues with the pool water. No one is authorized to enter the pump room except the pool service.
And a reminder, anyone under the age of 16 needs to have a homeowner present while using the pool, over the age of 16, the homeowner is responsible for making sure they behave properly and follow pool rules. As a homeowner, you are personally responsible for anyone you let access the pool with your key.
On July 17 at 7 pm we will have our next board meeting at the pool. I encourage you all to attend so we can address these issues. We would love to have the community come together to help keep the pool clean and safe.
Sincerely,
The LVHA board
